Build your own class's admission form

In ClassTablet a teacher opens a classroom's Admission Form page, starts from the Coaching, School or Minimal template and adds questions: eight field types including text, number, dropdown, date and phone, each labelled in Bangla and English. Answers such as class, roll or guardian phone can fill the student's profile. Publishing creates a link and a QR code.

How it is done today

At admission time a coaching centre prints forms, parents queue to fill them in by hand, and someone in the office types it all into Excel at night. Handwriting is unreadable, phone numbers have mistakes, and even after a Facebook ad an interested parent still has to come to the office.

How it works

  1. 1

    Pick a template

On the classroom's admission form page, start from Coaching (class, school, guardian contact), School admission (board, roll, previous school) or Minimal.

  2. 2

    Lay out the questions

Add a field, choose its type, write Bangla and English labels, mark it required or not and drag to reorder. The name and mobile block always comes first.

  3. 3

    Send answers to the profile

Map a field to current class, institution, board, roll or date of birth. Mapping guardian name and phone adds a guardian linked to the student.

  4. 4

    Publish and share

Publish creates a public link and a QR code. Copy the link into Facebook or WhatsApp, or download the QR and print it on a poster.

  5. 5

    See applications, close when done

On Admission responses, search by name or phone and filter by status. Unpublish stops the link but keeps responses; Close stops new applications.

Frequently asked questions

Can we change the form after publishing?

Yes. Each publish makes a new version of the form, and earlier applications stay exactly as they were. Adding a question midway doesn't spoil the old answers.

Will applicants see the form in Bangla?

Yes. Every question and option has a Bangla and an English label, so applicants read the form in whichever language they are viewing the site in.

Can we stop applications with fake numbers?

With Require phone OTP on in the form settings, applicants must confirm their number with a code sent to their mobile. It is on from the start for a new form.

Who can build an admission form?

The classroom's teacher. Each classroom has its own admission form and its own link, so different batches can have different forms in circulation.
