Stop money going to last year's number
A student paying a fee is shown the payment numbers that apply to that batch. A batch that has not set its own inherits the institution's numbers, and a batch that has overridden them shows the ones it set for itself instead.
How it is done today
A bKash or Nagad number usually spreads through a messaging group or by word of mouth. When a batch has its own number, money still goes to the old one, and both sides then lose time working out whose account it landed in.
How it works
- 1
The student goes to pay
The numbers are already on the payment page, so nobody has to ask a teacher which account this month's fee should go to.
- 2
Only what applies to this batch
The numbers are worked out for that batch specifically, so another batch's account does not appear in front of the wrong student.
- 3
Falling back to the institution
Where a batch has not set up anything of its own, the institution's numbers stand in for it rather than leaving the student with nothing.
- 4
Send the money and record it
The student pays the number shown and then fills in the details of what they sent on the same page.

Frequently asked questions
Do the institution's numbers still show after an override?
Once a batch sets up its own arrangements, its numbers are what apply there, and the institution's general ones no longer appear for that batch.
Does the money go to ClassTablet?
No. It goes to the institution's own account. What happens here is only showing which of those accounts applies to this particular batch.
Who can see the numbers?
Only somebody allowed to see that batch's payment arrangements, so the accounts are not left sitting open to anyone who finds the page.
