Where the institution's plan stands
An institution admin can read the institution's current plan and the state it is in. The state is one of four: active, past due, cancelled or expired. The start and end of the current period come with it, along with how many teachers and how many students there are.
How it is done today
When an admin cannot see which plan the institution is on or what state it is in, every question has to be put to the platform in writing, and nothing moves at all for as long as the reply takes to come back.
How it works
- 1
Open the institution's billing section
Open the billing section as an institution admin. The section does not open for anyone who is not one.
- 2
Read the plan and its state
The state sits beside the plan name, so whether a payment has fallen behind reads at a glance.
- 3
Check the current period
Both the start and the end of the period are shown, so which stretch of time is being paid for is clear.
- 4
Compare the teacher and student counts
How many teachers and students the institution has now comes with it, so the plan ceilings can be measured against them.

Frequently asked questions
Who can see this section?
An institution admin. The request checks for that first, and anyone else is sent to a different page instead.
Can an institution buy its own plan?
No. With no plan in place, the page says to contact the platform to have an institutional plan set up.
What states can the plan be in?
Four: active, past due, cancelled and expired. Whichever one applies sits beside the plan name itself.
