Taking the plan out in one sitting

A teacher picks one of the plans that can be bought, optionally enters a promo code, and sends the request. An invoice is raised and the browser goes on to the gateway page to pay. When a discount leaves nothing to pay, there is no gateway trip at all.

How it is done today

Making somebody talk to a person to take a plan out means a teacher who wants to start classes tonight has to wait until an office opens in the morning, and most of them simply do not come back after that wait.

How it works

  1. 1

    Open the checkout step

Open the checkout step from the billing section, where the plans that can actually be bought are the ones on offer.

  2. 2

    Choose a plan

Checkout offers two plans, and the one you are already on cannot be chosen again from here.

  3. 3

Enter a promo code if you have one

Type the code and check it. If it holds, the discount comes off the total straight away rather than later.

  4. 4

    Pay for it

Sending the request raises an invoice and hands the browser on to the gateway page to take the payment.

Frequently asked questions

Which plans can be bought here?

Two. The request rules accept no plan name beyond those two, so the rest of the list cannot be bought from this step.

What happens if a discount brings it to zero?

Then there is no gateway trip. The invoice is raised, there is nothing left to pay, and the plan comes into effect.

Can I buy the plan I am already on?

No. Leaving the current plan selected and carrying on simply does not send the request at all.
