Who is waiting to join this class
A panel on the classroom page lists the join requests waiting on this class alone, each with the applicant's name and email. A red count on the button shows how many are waiting before you open it. Inside, a refresh button pulls the list again, and when more than one is waiting, an approve-all button appears.
How it is done today
A student who enters the class code does not walk straight in; they wait. If the teacher never learns anyone is waiting, a week goes by and the student assumes they were turned away. Opening every class one after another to check is not a good use of a teacher's evening either.

A count on the button
When someone is waiting, a red badge with the number appears on the button on the classroom page, so the job is visible without opening the panel at all.

This class only
Because the panel is opened from inside a classroom, it carries only the students waiting on that class. Requests from your other classes do not crowd in.

Name and email per row
Each request shows the applicant's name and email address, so recognising who asked does not mean cross-checking a separate list first.

Refresh by hand
A refresh button inside the panel fetches the list again on the spot, which picks up anyone who sent their request in the last few moments.

When more than one request has built up, a button to approve them all together appears, so they do not have to be tapped through one by one.

Frequently asked questions
Do approved requests stay on the list?
No. Only enrolments still sitting in the waiting state are returned. Once a request is approved or rejected its state changes, and it drops out of this list on the next read.
How many requests come back at once?
Up to two hundred waiting requests are returned in one call. A single class rarely builds up more than that at one time, and the list shortens as each one is dealt with.
Can requests from all classes be seen together?
Yes, but that is a separate view. Opened from inside a class you get that class only; opened from the classroom list page you get every class you teach, grouped by classroom.
