Pick students and put them in the class
In the add-student window you tick several students at once and add them, and they become actively enrolled straight away. Each one is handled separately, so a problem with a single student does not stop the others going in, and the screen says exactly which ones did not work.
How it is done today
Starting a new batch by sending out the class code, asking everyone to request a place and then approving those requests one by one turns into a two-day job. Somebody loses the code, somebody sends it to the wrong batch, and on the first day of class the teacher still does not know who is on the register.
How it works

Find them and tick them
Search by phone number and tick the results you want. Several can be selected together, and the button states how many are currently ticked.

Enrolled active immediately
Added students skip the waiting list and become active members of the class, because the decision has already been taken by the teacher doing it.

An old row is reused
If someone was removed from this class before, their existing enrolment is made active again instead of a second row being created for the same person.

One failure does not block the rest
Each student is added on their own. If one is already in the class, only that one reports a problem while everybody else goes in as normal.

The result is on screen
A success message gives the number added, and if anything failed a separate warning lists the reasons together rather than hiding them.

Frequently asked questions
Does this create new student accounts?
No. Only students who already have an account can be picked here. Somebody with no account at all has to be set up as a student first, which is a separate job on its own page.
What happens if someone is already in the class?
They are not added again. The screen reports that they are already enrolled, no second row appears on the register, and nothing about their existing enrolment is changed.
Do students added this way need approving?
No. The approval step exists for students who ask to join by themselves. When a teacher picks someone deliberately the decision has already been made, so they go straight in as active.
