A plain sentence instead of a broken page

When the internet connection goes, ClassTablet shows a screen of its own. It says the connection has been lost, and that data which was already loaded is still available. A way back to the dashboard sits at the bottom of it.

How it is done today

Mobile internet in Bangladesh drops out mid-task often enough, particularly outside the cities. Meeting the browser's English error page at that moment leaves people assuming the software itself has broken, and some of them do not come back.

How it works

  1. 1

    The connection drops

Moving to another page with no network brings this screen up instead.

  2. 2

    Read what happened

The screen says plainly that the internet connection has been lost, so there is nothing to guess at.

  3. 3

What was loaded is still there

Data already loaded remains available, and the screen says so.

  4. 4

    Go back when it returns

The link at the bottom takes you back to the dashboard to pick up where you were.

Frequently asked questions

Is this the browser's own page?

No. It is ClassTablet's own screen, so the wording and the look match the rest of the software.

Can I keep working without a connection?

This page makes no such claim. It states only what is true: data already loaded is still there to read.

Will I know if the connection drops mid-task?

Yes. A drop during a task is flagged where you are with a banner, not only on this screen.
