Separate payment numbers for one batch
In ClassTablet each classroom normally uses the institution's payment numbers. When the classroom's teacher or an admin switches on 'Override org defaults' in the classroom's 'Payments' tab, that classroom can keep its own bKash, Nagad and Rocket numbers, or take payments online through SSLCommerz instead of manually.
How it is done today
Two teachers at the same coaching centre run separate batches, and each takes fees into their own bKash. Or a batch belongs to another branch with its own books. With one institution number for everyone, the money has to be split by hand later. And students in an online batch are often happier paying by card than sending bKash.
How it works
- 1
The classroom's 'Payments' tab
Open the 'Payments' tab on the classroom's edit page. The classroom's assigned teachers and institution admins can change it; students never see it.
- 2
Switch on 'Override org defaults'
With the switch off, the classroom uses the institution's numbers and method. Turn it on to decide separately for this classroom; no other classroom is affected.
- 3
SSLCommerz or manual
'SSLCommerz' lets students pay online with no account setup, though a gateway fee may apply. 'Manual MFS' has them send to your bKash, Nagad or Rocket and submit a claim, with no gateway fee.
- 4
Add the classroom's own numbers
After choosing manual and saving, add, edit or switch off this classroom's bKash, Nagad or Rocket numbers. Its students see only these numbers when they pay.

Frequently asked questions
Does a classroom override remove the institution's numbers?
No. The institution's numbers stay as they are and every other classroom keeps showing them. Only students in a classroom with 'Override org defaults' on see different numbers.
Can students pay by bKash if I choose SSLCommerz?
Yes. The SSLCommerz payment page accepts bKash, Nagad, Rocket and cards. The difference is that the money is paid online, and a successful payment marks the month paid by itself.
What if I switch the override off again?
Turning 'Override org defaults' off returns the classroom to the institution's payment method and numbers. From the next payment, students see the institution's list.
