Institution numbers copied into a classroom, no retyping
In ClassTablet, when you switch on 'Override org defaults' for a classroom and save it with 'Manual MFS', and that classroom has no numbers yet, the institution's bKash, Nagad and Rocket numbers are copied in by themselves, with their names, types and on or off state. Then you change only what is different.
How it is done today
For one batch only the Nagad number is different; bKash and Rocket are the institution's. But if turning on separate settings leaves an empty list, all three numbers have to be typed again. Get one digit of an eleven-digit number wrong and a student's money goes to a stranger, and getting it back is hard.

Turn on separate settings
In the 'Payments' tab of the classroom's edit page, switch on 'Override org defaults', leave the method as 'Manual MFS' and save the settings.

The numbers copy themselves
If the classroom's list is empty, the system copies every institution number across once, in the same order, and shows 'Copied org payment methods'.

Existing numbers are left alone
If the classroom already has numbers, nothing is copied, so numbers you set yourself are never overwritten by the institution's.

Change only what differs
Edit just the number that is different for this batch, or switch off one you don't need. From then on the list belongs to the classroom.

Frequently asked questions
If the institution's numbers change later, do the classroom's?
No. The copy happens once; after that the classroom's list is separate. If the institution changes a number later, update it by hand in classrooms with their own settings.
What if the institution has no numbers yet?
There is nothing to copy, so the list stays empty. Add bKash, Nagad or Rocket numbers to the classroom yourself, or add the institution's numbers in settings first.
Is there a button to press?
No separate button. Saving 'Override org defaults' with the manual method triggers the copy by itself, and a confirmation message appears on screen.
