What exactly this money was for
Opening a single invoice shows the figures inside it: the amount, the state it is in, and the period the invoice was raised for. Where a discount code was applied, that code and the amount it took off come with it, as does the date it was paid.
How it is done today
A single amount in a list does not explain why that much came out, and it gives no way to tell whether the discount code that was typed in actually took effect at the time.
How it works
- 1
Open the invoice list
Open your own list of invoices in the billing section, where the invoice you want to read is one of the rows.
- 2
Open the invoice
Opening it from the row gives it a page of its own, with the whole set of figures laid out.
- 3
Check the period and the state
The period the invoice covers and the state it is in sit together near the top of that page.
- 4
See whether a discount applied
Where a discount code was applied, both the code and the amount it took off are written on the invoice.

Frequently asked questions
Can somebody else's invoice be opened?
No. Whether the person asking is the one the invoice was raised for is checked first, and it is refused otherwise.
What happens if the invoice does not exist?
The request is turned away saying the invoice was not found, and nothing else is shown in its place.
Is the download always offered?
No. The download only appears once the invoice has been paid, and not at any point before that.
