- How many marking credits are left
How many marking credits are left
A teacher can check their own credit balance at any time. One credit is one page, so the number reads directly as how many more pages can still be marked. Before any scripts are added, the whole batch is costed against that balance first.
How it is done today
Running out of credits mid-batch stops the work at the worst possible point: half the scripts marked, half untouched, and no result you can publish. Without warning, the teacher ends up sorting out payment at exactly the moment they have least time for it.
How it works
- 1
The balance stays in view
It sits at the top of the script-checking page, so there is nowhere separate to go and look it up.
- 2
One credit, one page
The arithmetic is simple: one credit per page. The number is therefore a direct count of how many more pages can be marked.
- 3
Costed before a batch starts
Adding scripts counts the pages across the whole batch and checks them against the balance. Short of credits, the batch does not begin.
- 4
Retries cost too
Sending a failed script back spends credits afresh, so that is worth allowing for when reading the balance.
What runs on its own, what stays in your hands
What happens automatically
The balance is drawn down as each page is marked, with nothing to tally by hand.
What you control
When to buy credits and which batch to mark next is the teacher's call. Nothing is bought automatically when the balance runs low.

Frequently asked questions
What does one credit buy?
One page. The count is pages rather than scripts, so a four-page script costs four credits.
What do credits cost?
100 credits for ৳30, 500 for ৳150 and 1000 for ৳300. All three packs work out at the same ৳0.30 per page, so a bigger pack carries no extra discount.
Can credits run out mid-batch?
Not within a batch. The cost of the whole batch is checked before scripts are added, and if the balance will not cover it the batch never starts.
Can you see another teacher's balance?
No. The figure is always that of whoever is signed in, and there is no way to aim this at someone else's balance.
